Mentorship at Kalispell Toyota | There is Nothing of Greater Value Than Our People

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines mentorship as: the influence, guidance, or direction given by a mentor. 

At Kalispell Toyota we have nothing of greater value than our people. We respect the uniqueness of every individual and believe that such an attitude will build a team of confident, creative members possessing a high degree of initiative, self respect and discipline. For example, we invest in our employees, and not just with training. Our dealership provides mentors to newly hired individual to give a true feeling of belonging to our team. At one point in time we have all been “the new guy/gal”. Learning new job skills, company culture, and getting to know new people can be a little overwhelming. By having a mentorship program in place, new employees can have someone to go to to ask questions. It also creates a bond. Hearing the story of someone with so much experience can be inspirational, motivational, and encouraging.

What about the experienced employees that choose to be apart of the mentorship? Well, they are all compensated for their training efforts. As they should be. Taking on a bigger work load on top of their responsibilities is not a feat all can handle. Our mentorship program is voluntary, no one is forced to become a mentor, although because of our team culture we are grateful to have the majority participate.
