Kalispell Auto Group Summer 2021

September 1st, 2021 by

And in just a blink of an eye, Summer of 2021 is technically over. What a FUN summer for us here at Kalispell Auto Group. We were able to sponsor and be part of some amazing events, but before we tell you all about them, we would like to thank our employees for their hard work and dedication, which allowed us to sponsor and be part of these amazing events. Without them, we seriously could not have participated in the community as much as we did this summer. Not only would we like to thank our employees, but we would also like to thank the flathead valley community for putting on such fun-filled events and allowing us to participate.

So, what did we do this summer?

Summer 2021 Golfing

We GOLFED lots! We kicked off summer by attending the Grizzly Golf Tournament, which supported the Grizzly scholarship association. A few weeks later, we played in the CASA for Kids Golf Tournament, which was in support of raising money to benefit abused and neglected children living in foster care. In July, we participated in the 15th annual A.L.E.R.T/Betty Woods Memorial Tournament. The ALERT helicopter has more than 18,000 flights, 1,500 lives saved in its history, and performs more than 400 flights annually. To kick off August, we sponsored and participated in the YWAM golf tournament up at Northern Pines. A few days later, we sponsored the first annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf Fore Kids’ Sake. (Our team won second place, yay!!)

On top of all the golf tournaments, we hosted a few employee appreciation nights for all three stores where we had nights of lots of laughing, golfing, and of course, dinner.

This Summer we got our rodeo on!
Boy, are we glad we own some cowgirl boots because those were an essential piece this summer! We got our RODEO ON. Kalispell Auto Group sponsored the first annual PBR Rodeo. Professional bull riders Mason Taylor, Cooper Davis, Stetson Lawrence, Chase Outlaw, and Flathead Valley’s own Matt Triplet came and gave quite the spectacular. The last weekend of July, we were sponsors and attended the Toughest Cowboy Rodeo in Bigfork, MT (so much FUN!).

Fundraising
Backpack Program– The whole month of August, Kalispell Auto Group donated a portion of each vehicle sold to the Backpack in an effort to support the Flathead Food Bank’s mission to keep our children well-fed and give them the best opportunity possible to learn and succeed in their lives.

School Raffle– Every school year, the Kalispell Automotive Group donates a new vehicle to local Public Schools. Tickets are officially on sale now as the drawing will be held on February 17th,2022 at the Cross-Town Game @ Glacier High School. Of each $10 ticket sold, $8 goes directly to the school or student group that sells the ticket, and $2 goes to the school district for administration. Let us tell you that nothing goes to Kalispell Ford, Kalispell Toyota, or Kalispell VW it all goes to the school. Flathead Valley Public Schools have raised on average $80,000 each year for their schools and activities. Stop on by to one of the three dealerships and purchase your tickets today!

We became major foodies!
So, what else did we do this summer? We ATE tons of delicious food! One of our first summer events was the Flathead Food Truck Festival at Sun Rift Beer Company. It was a weekend full of local food, vendors, beer, and live music! Every Tuesday, Toyota sponsored the concert for Picnic in the Park, which was nights filled with amazing music, vendors, and delicious food trucks.
