The 2023 Toyota Sequoia

The all-new 2023 Toyota Sequoia has made quite its mark on the large SUV market. This year, Toyota revamped just about everything they could have to this model. The exterior has changed tremendously as well as towing capacity, fuel economy, and even what is under the hood. The Sequoia was well over-due for some upgrades.

The 2023 Sequoia is now available in five different trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone. Each of the trims can either come in a 4×2 or a 4×4, if you prefer having four-wheel-drive. Each of the trim levels have their own unique features. First, the SR5 is the base model. The Limited is next, and each trim after that is a step up from the last. The Sequoia now comes with the 3.5 i-FORCE MAX Hybrid engine. This engine allows for better fuel economy, more power and torque, and now is a 10-speed automatic.

Next, the tow rating has increased from 7,400 pounds to 9,520 pounds. This makes pulling your camper to the lake much easier than ever before. Also, the towing package comes with a trailer backup guide to help you park your trailer with ease. The trailer backup guide comes with straight path assist. It allows you to take your hands off the wheel so the SUV can back itself up straight to your trailer hitch.

As for the interior, the technology equipped on this SUV is next level. The 2023 Sequoia has a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, JBL Premium speakers, third row seating, and much more.  It also comes with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5. This includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian watch, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, road sign assist, and lane tracing assist.
